FAQs: Heavy Duty FXG Series
What is the FXG Series hose designed for?
It’s made for tougher jobs. Power washing, long watering sessions, even light construction use. If you need something stronger than a standard garden hose, this is the level you’d step up to.
Is the hose highly resistant to kinks and abrasion?
Yes. The walls are reinforced, and the outer jacket is rugged enough to take scrapes and bends without giving out. It still bends, but it’s much less likely to twist or wear thin compared to lighter models.
Can this hose be left outdoors year-round?
It can sit outside through most weather since it’s built to resist sun and rain. Freezing, though, is another story — bringing it in during winter is the safer move if you want it to last.
Does the FXG Series come with high-quality fittings?
It does. The ends are brass, crush-proof, and made to keep a strong seal. They also let water flow freely so you get full pressure instead of a weak stream.
Is this hose lead-free or drinking water safe?
No. It’s not rated for potable use, so it shouldn’t be connected for drinking water or anything involving food. Strictly outdoor chores.
